On Thursday 9th June, the children took part in Empathy Day an initiative led by The Empathy Lab. During the day, the children learnt about how to become a more empathetic person e.g. being a good listener and putting themselves in other people’s shoes. They did this through reading a range of books about feelings and relationships.
Once again the children have made us really proud with their thoughtfulness and consideration of each other when discussing their feelings. We have had a phenomenal response on Twitter, from The Empathy Lab and authors of the books we used, who were blown away with our work on the day.
