On Monday 14th July, we learnt about Bastille Day as part of our Global Events Calendar. The children all started the day with a Parisian breakfast of croissants and hot chocolate and went on to learn about what Bastile Day is. They completed activities such as art activities with Monet and Suerat as a stimulus, learning about landmarks, the main cities, french food and the language. The children came dressed in the colours of The Tricolour, or as waiters and waitresses for our cafe. Everyone had a marvellous day.
