On Thursday 24th September, Year 4 visited the River Freshney to learn about rivers, wildlife and water safety. We were joined by the very informative James Elliott, otherwise known as the Canoe River Cleaner. The children enjoyed finding out about what James does and went on a wildlife walk. The pupils were inquisitive and asked excellent questions and were knowledgeable about rivers. They were a credit to the school.
