The summer term has seen the children take part in many sports evetns. On Tuesday 6th May, a group of year 3 and 4 children took part in the Primary Cricket Festival. They had a great time learning the skills involved in playing cricket.
On the 8th May, we took part in the Year 3 and 4 Quad Kids Athletics tournament. The children really persevered throughout the day and showed excellent determination. They all did really well in the running, jumping and throwing athletics events.
On 22nd May, our year 5 and 6 athletics team took part in their Quad Kids tournament. They did incredibly well and came 8th out of 17 schools.
On Tuesday 24th June, ten of our pupils entered the Primary Outdoor Adventurous Activities event. They had a great afternoon of map reading and team work activities.
All of the pupils who entered these events were a credit to the school and took part with enthusiasm and grit.
