As part of our Early Years theme of ‘Me and My Community’, the police and our local road safety team have visited the children in the early years.
The local PCSOs talked to the children about how the police help us, before showing them their uniforms and even letting some of the children try them on. They even got to have a look at the police car and turn on the siren!
The road safety team carried out an experiment with some fresh eggs to show the importance of wearing a cycling helmet. The children found out about safe places to cross the road and what to wear to be seen now the days are getting darker.
